At 29 weeks your baby is about the size of a small pineapple, around 39.2 cm long and 1.35 kg. Before about 14 weeks babies are measured from crown to rump; after that the figure is head to heel. - Maternity leave is 26 weeks, with up to 16 more weeks of unpaid leave. At least 2 weeks must be taken before the end of the week your baby is due.
