Which baby tracker app can both parents use?
Our pick is Lullagram, which we make in Ireland. Here is how sharing works between two phones, what it costs, how it copes with twins and the other apps couples use.
In short
Our pick for a baby tracker both parents can use is Lullagram. You each use your own phone and your own login in one shared household, and every feed, sleep and nappy either of you logs shows up on the other phone straight away. One subscription covers the whole household, twins included: free for 7 days with no card, then €4.99 a month.
- Two phones, one household: invite your partner with a code from the Menu. You each keep your own login, and nobody shares a password.
- Live both ways: feeds, sleep and nappies, edits and deletions included, show on both phones straight away when you are online, and anything logged offline syncs once you are back online.
- Handovers: one tap sums up the last 8 hours of feeds, sleep and nappies for whoever takes over.
- Twins: each baby has their own log, and the two of you can log different babies at the same time.
- One price: €4.99 a month for the household, not per parent. The pregnancy and trying for a baby sections are free.
A declaration of interest first: we make Lullagram, in Ireland, so we are not a neutral party, and we have put it first on purpose. Everything we say about it below is what the app does today. What we say about other apps comes from their own websites and help pages, checked on 30 September 2026.
With a new baby, the tracking is rarely one person's job. One of you does the 3am feed, the other does the 7am one, and every handover starts with the same questions: when did the baby last feed, which side was it and has anyone changed the nappy? If the log lives on one phone, someone gets woken up to answer. When both parents can use the same baby tracker, the answer is on whichever phone is nearest.
Which baby tracker app lets both parents log feeds at the same time?
Lullagram does: you each log on your own phone, at the same time if you need to, and both entries land on both phones. One of you can log the feed while the other logs the nappy, and neither of you has to ask what happened.
It works because you share one household rather than one login. Each of you signs in with your own email or Google account, so nobody hands over a password, and it makes no difference whether you have Android, an iPhone or a laptop. It is also the simple answer if you want an app to share feeding and nappy logs with your partner: everything either of you logs goes into the same timeline.
What is the best baby tracker app for both parents?
Our pick is Lullagram, because in our view it gets right the parts of sharing that matter at 3am: your own logins in one household, live sync both ways, logging offline, handovers without waking anyone and one price for the whole household.
- Your own logins, one household. Each parent signs in on their own phone. The baby, the logs and the reports are shared.
- Live, both ways. A feed, sleep or nappy logged on one phone appears on the other straight away, and so do edits and deletions.
- It works offline. Log with no signal and it syncs as soon as you are back online.
- Handovers without waking anyone. Create handover on the home screen sums up the last 8 hours for the parent coming on, with room for a note, ready to send by WhatsApp or text.
- One price for the household. €4.99 a month covers both of you and all your babies, after a free 7 days with no card.
- Made in Ireland. Irish English, kg and ml, the HSE vaccine schedule and a visit summary for your public health nurse, with your data stored in Ireland.
How do I share Lullagram with my partner?
Invite your partner with a code from the Menu. They sign up on their own phone, tap Got an invite code? in their Menu and enter the code, and your baby, with everything you have logged, appears on their phone.
Step by step:
- On the phone that already has your baby in it, tap Menu at the top right of the home screen, then under Family tap Invite your partner. You get an 8-character code that works once, within 7 days.
- Tap Share to send the code by WhatsApp, text or email.
- Your partner installs Lullagram, from Google Play on Android or at lullagram.ie/app on iPhone, and signs up with their own email or Google account.
- The app asks a new parent to set up first, so your partner adds the baby when asked. Then they tap Menu, then Got an invite code?, and enter the code. Your baby, and everything you have logged, appears on their phone.
Send the invite from the phone that already has your baby's logs. Anything your partner set up before joining stays in their own account and does not show up in yours.
How quickly does my partner see what I log?
Straight away, as long as both phones are online. Lullagram keeps each phone connected to your household, so a new feed, sleep or nappy, or a change to one, appears on the other phone without a refresh. If you log with no signal, the entry is kept on your phone and syncs as soon as you are back online.
One thing to know: a running timer stays on the phone that started it. When one of you starts the sleep timer or the breastfeeding timer, the other phone gets the sleep or the feed as soon as it is stopped and saved.

How do we hand over without waking each other?
Check the phone, not your partner. The home screen shows the last feed, sleep and nappy at a glance, and Create handover on the home screen sums up the last 8 hours, with room for a note, ready to send by WhatsApp or text.
If you are splitting the nights, our guide to shift sleeping with a newborn sets out the patterns couples use, including the support shift for breastfeeding.
Is there a free baby tracker app I can share with my partner?
Lullagram's baby tracker is free for 7 days with every feature unlocked, sharing included, and no card needed. After that it is €4.99 a month for the whole household. The pregnancy tracker and the trying for a baby section are free for good, and your partner can follow those too: a pregnancy is shared with everyone in your household, and sharing your cycle is your choice.
Other apps have free versions too, so check what the free version includes before you both set it up. Some share by signing in to the same account on both phones, and some list family sync among their paid benefits. There is more on that below.
Does my partner have to pay separately?
No, one subscription covers the whole household, so both of you, and all your babies, are covered by one €4.99 a month. On Android you subscribe through Google Play, and on iPhone or a computer you pay by card. Whichever of you subscribes, the other parent is covered on their own phone.

What is a good baby tracker app for twins?
Our pick is Lullagram, because twins are usually a two-parent job and Lullagram is built for two phones. Each baby has their own log, Sleep Window, insights, reports and visit summary, and you switch between them by tapping the baby's name at the top of the screen. With two phones, one of you can log one twin while the other logs the other, and both logs appear on both phones.
If you used the pregnancy tracker and ticked We are expecting twins, tapping Our baby is here asks for both names and sets up both babies at once. Otherwise, add your second baby from the Menu with Add another baby. One subscription covers the household, however many babies are in it.
If you are breastfeeding twins, the HSE advises keeping a note of each baby's feeds and dirty nappies until they are gaining weight steadily. A shared tracker keeps that record for you, whichever of you did the feed.
What other apps do couples use to share baby tracking?
Most baby trackers sync between phones in some way. The difference is how: one shared login or one each, and whether sharing is part of the free version. Huckleberry shares by signing in to the same account on both phones, and Baby Daybook lists family sync among its Premium benefits. This is how each app describes it on its own website and help pages, checked on 30 September 2026.
| App | How two parents share | What sharing costs |
|---|---|---|
| Lullagram | Your own logins in one household, with logs on both phones straight away | Included: €4.99 a month for the household after a free 7 days |
| Huckleberry | You sign in to the same account on each phone and it syncs between them | Tracking is free; SweetSpot nap predictions and sleep plans are on paid plans |
| Baby Daybook | You add your partner to the caregivers list so you can both log | Family sync is listed among its Premium benefits |
Huckleberry
Huckleberry is one of the best known baby trackers, with over a million downloads on Google Play. Its help pages say that to share with a partner, you log in to your account on their phone as well, and the app then syncs between the two. Basic tracking is free, SweetSpot nap predictions come with its paid plans and personalised sleep plans with the top one.
Baby Daybook
Baby Daybook is a detailed tracker with a strong visual timeline. You add your partner or a nanny to its caregivers list so everyone can log, and the app lists family sync, for sharing logs with a partner, grandparents or a nanny, among its Premium benefits.
Whichever you choose, the test is the same: can both of you log on your own phone, does it sync straight away and does sharing cost extra? For more on the differences, see our Lullagram vs Huckleberry comparison and our round-up of baby trackers for Irish parents.
Does Lullagram work if one of us has an iPhone and the other has Android?
Yes: on Android Lullagram is on Google Play, and on iPhone it runs from Safari at lullagram.ie/app, added to your Home Screen. Mixed households work exactly the same way, and it also works in any modern browser on a laptop or tablet.
Who can see our baby's data?
Only the people in your household. Your data is stored in an EU data centre in Ireland, encrypted in transit and at rest, with row-level security so nobody outside your household can see it. There are no ads and your data is never sold.
Anyone who joins with your code sees everything in your household, so keep codes for your partner or someone you would trust with all of it. The full details are in our privacy policy.
Sources and guidance
The advice on feeding twins comes from the HSE. What we say about other apps comes from their own websites and help pages. It is general information for parents in Ireland, not medical advice. Links checked 30 September 2026.
I've used the app since my now 3 month old was born and it's honestly brilliant. Very handy when me and my husband were doing handovers, no one needed to be woken up or questioned! Great resource for the public health nurse when we had concerns about feeding etc, it was all recorded in the app. It's also really refreshing to have an app like this geared towards parents in Ireland.
